Po koncercie czatowalismy pod bramą i chłopaki wyjechali 2 samochodami z Torwaru ale niestety nie zatrzymali sie choc machalismy i darlismy sie (Stefan tylko pomachał i usmiechnął się ) tez fajne. Szyby były czarnniutkie i poztałej dwójki nie było widac:-(

Wsiadałm do samochodu i słuchałam Trójki. Stelka powiedzial ze rozmawal z chlopakami chwile w garderobie i powiedzieli ze akcja z flaga super, dopytywali ktoą wymyslił wiec Stelka na to, że fani a Placebo ze super ze ngdy tego nie zapomna co wiecej tą flage co zabrał Brian powiedzieli ze beda ze soba wozić zeby przypominala im... SUPER!!!

Mineły już 2 dni a ja wciąz nie mogę dojść do siebie po koncercie... Wciaz i wciaz na nowo go przezywam, coś odkrywam, przypomianm sobie. Bo tam na Torwarze było tyle emocji, szok...,ze trudno zapamiętac co się działo, kiedy, w jakiej kolejności...Brian boski nic dodac nic ujac. Jak dla mnie głos mial super i widac ze cały Placebo team bardzo staral sie, ze flagi poruszyły ich, ze chcieli zostawic po sobie cos wiecej niz jako takie wrazenie. Myslalam ze po koncercie U2 to juz nie wypali, bo wtedy 70 tys osob zrobilo gigantyczna flage - to bylo tez super. Ale udalo sie zaskoczyc i Placebo i co tu dyuzo mowic urozmaicic ta trase:-)

A kiedy bedzie wywiad w Trójce czy ktos wie? Proszę napiszcie.

Fri 1 Jun – Placebo, Hariasen

Last time when I was writing about Mariza and her great show I said that I can give my soul to Mephistopheles in exchange for delightful moments of life... and June 1st was another day worth being sentenced on eternal damnation.

There is no point in writing about support because Hariasen not only was not stunning but also confused me and other growing impatient Placebo's fans. Leader with voice balancing between Łzy and Blue Café style (ok, probably I'm exaggerating but I'm sure his voice was hopeless), his nonsensical struggling on the stage and trying to make up for lousy music and poor lyrics with crude motion... Well I'm not able to say anything favourable about Hariasen's performance. Certainly we have better Polish artist so the only one thing we can do is to wish that support matters had been matched with more deliberation.

Fortunately salvation (in the form of The Divine Brian Molko and others) didn't keep us waiting. Driving crowd into a frenzy they announce that:

"There’s gonna be an accident" ( Infra-Red)

...and it really was but not physical... we were all insane. Suddenly the heat, drenching with sweat, lack of water and oxygen, nauseating odour of audience lost their meaning. They don't matter for spectators who were singing, screaming, jumping and exploding with internal energy of excitement.

"There is no running that can hide you cause I can see in the dark" ( Infra-Red)

We were one collective mind, one body, one extremely powerful organism living at the moment only to adore music and musicians. I still can feel that feeling... and I'm glad to say that it is fantastic.

"Let’s take a dive, swim right through sophisticated points of view" ( Follow the Cops Back Home)

There are many splendid things worth mentioning. It is hard to decide with what I should start. So many senses were used at this point that being of sound mind was surely impossible.

"I’d freeze us both in time and find a brand new way of seeing, your eyes forever glued to mine" ( Blind)

Excellent visualisation at the screens behind group were something what definitely impressed everyone. Images hitting the target in the form of our subconscious act as amplifiers of stimuli sending from the stage. Who don't remember intriguing face of Hindu girl while One of a Kind or appealing emotions of woman arguing during The Bitter End. Of course I don't have to tell that starring at singing Brian was incomparable pleasure but for someone as short as me screens gave sufficient satisfaction Smile

"We need to concentrate on more than meets the eye" ( Twenty Years)

Another things that absolutely aroused me (and I'm convinced that not only me) were incredible refinement of songs by unending guitar parts. It was obvious for me that live versions of hits are longer and always changed but there is vast difference between listening them at home and experiencing them in raging crowd of people and emotions.

"Harder faster, forever after" ( Bionic)

This isn't going too far if I say that they were exciting and just orgasmic. Growing wave of sounds and growing level of tension in mind and body, magnificent consciousness that this is for real and desire to be there and feel it forever...

"Let me steal this moment from you now" ( Running Up That Hill)

Trust me, I believe that I will remember it to my last day. Before concert I was laughing that Placebo starring on June 1st is so meaningfully - Children's Day "And the Sex and the drugs and the complications" (Meds) seems to be combination that don't escape notice Wink

But only participants of this concert could with self-confidence assure everyone of fact that Placebo is by far the best of all stimulants and I was drunken with happiness without drinking anything including products of fermentation Wink

"I serve my head up on a plate. It's only comfort, calling late" ( Every You Every Me)

I don't know why the first song that I keep in mind from show is Follow the Cops Back Home. It strike me as unbelievable that gathering of as many people is giving in so easily to magic of music and is flowing in sounds and lyrics in perfect harmony. There were no rules, no arrangement, no consultation... but we found ourselves in agreement with surroundings.

"I'm on sinking sand, no escaping gravity, no escaping... not for free" ( Special K)

Although I remember Follow the Cops Back Home as well it didn't escape my attention that Special K was special key to our hearts that awoke even those who were still sleeping (I'm writing it with doubt that there really exist sleepyheads but let judge that phrase necessary to explain how powerful it was). Thousands of throats shouting recurrent, easy verse... Undoubted ecstasy and enthusiasm sang for us. We could wake up and invite to our madness even dead.

"Soulmate dry your eyes cause soulmates never die" ( Sleeping With Ghosts)

When we are talking about death it is worth to stop for a while to tell about fantastic effect of astonishing action with flags welcoming Placebo. Prearranged sign - Sleeping With the Ghosts (Soulmates)'s score and like by using magic wand - hundreds of Polish flags suddenly appear above our heads. It is good moment to thank originator of that plan because not only Brian was moved - I was bursting with good luck that I can participate in such brilliant action and with tears of joy in my eyes listened Brian's speech about deads and smiles. Huge thanks to him and to everyone who does it a service.

"Strange infatuation seems to grace the evening tide" ( Without You I'm Nothing)

I can talk about that event all day. So many my favourites songs, feelings, memories. As always great Brian's voice and appearance. I still can see deep down him during Blind when he was singing without guitar and he was smiling so sweetly. He really knew what could amused us and did everything to make us enjoying performance completely. There is only one thing that seems to be contrary to the truth:

"I know, you love the song but not the singer" ( I Know)

No one believe in that Wink

It is hard to avoid enchantment with his figure. He doesn't make impression to be guy with huge ego and self-centred aspirations. Being as famous and loved didn't deprave him. You can say that I'm wrong and appearances are misleading but I felt that he was there for us not for our money. Naive? I'm sorry, I want to believe in it.

"Don’t give up on the dream, don’t give up on the wanting" ( Because I Want You)

To sum up. As many others I has been waiting for that show for ages and I'm not disappointed. I carry in my heart light that was turning on by realizing a dream... everlasting dream about attending such a big event. If anyone is hesitating about buying ticket I can help saying: you should be there and learn how wonderful it can be the hard way.

Without you, Brian, we would be nothing at all... Thank you for coming home.

zejscie to oni mieli 9 grudnia w londynie, po tym totalnie zjebanym przez jakiegos ułoma koncercie. brain po prostu poszedl za kulisy, a stef spojrzal na niego zdziwiony i powiedzial, ze brain mial sie pozegnac, ale najwyrazniej nie ma ochoty, wiec bla bla bla... u nas mieli fajne zejscie, nie czepiac sie. a steve ucieszyl sie z papierosow, ktore ktos mu rzucil.
